What do you want to talk about?

Right now we require kafka to run the countertop, but it sure would be nice if we could let people play around without Kafka.

I think that Kafka will be needed for any real production environment, but I also suspect that in-memory queues could work for experimentation purposes.

Should we look into supporting one?
