It looks like there are serious problems with notification mails:

No mails received

We don't get any emails for comment on our components. This worked ~5 months ago.

Update: We figured out that due to some reason. We have to click on Follow thread
grafik

This is very unintuitive UX, wasn't the case ~5 months ago and should not be the default.

Mails are empty

Wenn we receive mails these look like this:
grafik

There is no content.

Some personal proposals as we had repeated problems with comments in the past:

  • Make it possible to disable comments AND/OR
  • Make it possible to show a hint that feedback should be submitted on another platform (like e.g. Stackoverflow, GitHub issues/discussions, etc)

Thanks for reporting. This is part of the website notification system. I discussed with the team and they will look at it. I'll update here.

Hi, thank you for reporting. Unfortunately, some of the threads couldn't be followed by default and in this case you have to click "Follow thread" to receive notifications. Sorry for inconvenience. Empty emails bug was happening only in Outlook and it was fixed few months ago, please inform us if you still have it.
