Does it make sense to change content generation tooling? #2

I see that latex is used to generate the content. I'd like to raise the question of if that is the right tool to continue using or if we should switch to something like Sphinx which uses RST as the base?

Don't read anything into this - it's just a question as I'm not familiar with how tied into things latex or the various content pieces are, or if there's specific things latex provides that we need. Depending on answers here I might raise similar questions on other content repos.
