Problem running Ubuntu19 version on Ubuntu19.3. #12401
-
Hello, on ubuntu 19.3, installed Linux - x86_64 64 bit Ubuntu 19, 4.9.184-linuxkit #12095 SMP, gcc 8.3 using the install script. however there is this error: ./../current/linux-x86_64/bin/python: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: any suggestions? SalHi Sal, The version of gcc and associated libraries on your system are probably older than what VisIt was compiled with. The Ubuntu 19 version was compiled on Ubuntu 19.04. You could either try upgrading your OS to 19.04 or try the Ubuntu 18 version of VisIt (compiled on Ubuntu 18.04). It might be useful to know the version of gcc you have installed on your system.
