Hello everyone,

As suggested by @remibetin in a recent translation review, I'd like to discuss the usage of the term Web vs. web. I could not find a unique rule for the usage in Brazilian Portuguese, although I did find some references:

I am using the term Web (with a capital letter) for proper names like "World Wide Web" and "Diretrizes de Acessibilidade de Conteúdo Web (WCAG)". I'm using the term web (in lowercase) for the other cases.

One consideration I had was that the term "Web" should be used when referring to the (World Wide) Web, but usually, the texts refer to any web.

By the way, I think the usage of the term "Internet" vs. "internet" falls under the same criteria, but I think it will be discussed in another issue.

Any thoughts on this?
