Extra upscaling OSD icon missing on native XDR upscaling? #3348

Hi @halfbrilliant - the extra OSD icon is still there but it appears only when you are using software XDR upscaling. If you switched to using (the superior) native XDR upscaling, you won't have this. This is intentional - the main reason for the extra icon was to indicate to the user when software XDR upscaling causes clipping in HDR content. Since native XDR upscaling does not have this + the SDR range itself is redefined, the indicator makes no sense. If you are not using native XDR upscaling (the "BetterDisplay XDR" preset), then something else must be wrong, let me know if this is the case. |
