It depends on whether Apple will start supporting ProMotion with
CGVirtualDisplay- the technology behind Sidecar and AirPlay which BetterDummy also utilizes. I think we'll get there as both the new MacBook Pro and iPad Pros support this so it would be logical for Apple to start supporting high refresh rate and HDR for iPad Pros. I think both machines and the technology is inherently capable to handle the increased bandwidth/processing requirements.
