Compatibily with Moodle 3.9, 3.10 #17
Comments
Hey, sorry for coming back to you so late. This activity was developed upon request and sponsoring of the University of Applied Sciences in Bochum, Germany. The activity is in good shape and working properly in Moodle 3.10 (there are rendering issues with Internet Explorer though, as far as I know). I do plan to keep it updated as long as the efforts are reasonable. In other words: if some future Moodle version will require a huge amount of changes, I will probably not be able to do that in my spare time - at least if the user base is small. ;-) It is not in the Moodle plugin directory because it was not required from the sponsor and I didn't want to go that extra mile. Might make sense though. Happy to hear your feedback! Would be cool to get more users. With that I'd think about submitting it to the plugin directory. |
Hello and thank you for your reply. I am going to install your plugin and will let you have my thoughts about it, especially as to how it compares with the Millionnaire game of the Games plugin. As for the size of the user base, I would say that having your on Moodle Plugin Directory is an essential first step towards expanding it. ;-) Have a good day! |
Hello, I am back with some feedback. Firstly, this is a very well designed plugin. It has a very clean design and the ability to connect each level to one or more question bank categories is a big plus. I really appreciate the way you have implemented this. However... I am facing a big problem. Quite a large proportion of the questions in my question bank contain media elements (images, audio, video, etc), which I think is quite common on modern language-learning platforms. You know the rest without me saying it, don't you? ;-) This I am afraid is a big handicap for a very promising plugin. Here is an example: |

Please let me know when you have had time to have a look. |
Hello, |
Any hope of this being updated to work with Moodle 4.1? ;-) |
Hello,
I would very much like to install this on my Moodle 3.9 site and am sure my students would greatly appreciate it.
However, I see the latest commit dates back to April 2020.
Is this activity compatible with the latest versions of Moodle?
Do you have plans to keep this updated for future versions?
And finally, is there any reason why this is not offered as a plugin through Moodle?
Yes, too many questions, I know. Sorry. :-(
