not powering on: internal power cable likely be damaged, replace this, spare was ordered.

Replacement socket doesn't have keyway, may not be able to use high power supplies.
Old socket okay, tested witl multimeter.
Problem is probably a dead power convertor somewhere on the main board. Non trivial to diagnose/fix.
