Repro steps:

  • in Folder Note settings, enable Hide Folder Note
  • it is recommended to set Note File Method to Folder Name Outside to better see the bug (if inside, the scrolling position won't be that much different between the parent note and the representative note inside)
  • create at least one folder note N with sub-notes, and many other unrelated notes just so the note file N appears at the bottom of the Notes view, far enough from the note parent folder N
  • at this point the note file N may still be visible due to this bug: The hidden file appear #38 in which case "Reveal current file" will reveal the note itself, as expected. If so, click on the note folder N (the actual folder) once to make the note file N disappear
  • open the folder note in the main file view
  • expand folder and scroll up as much as possible to make the bug obvious in next step
  • Apply command "File: Reveal current file in navigation" (I mapped it to Ctrl+R for convenience)

Actual: Notes view scrolls to bottom with the now invisible note file N
Expected: Notes view should scroll to the top with the note folder N
