Choose demos to warm up

Some demos require a significant amount of time to set up. You can choose to run the setup automatically after the VM has been provisioned. Right now, this includes

  • Invoice2SAP
  • DSF_AI_Fabric_Email_Classification

If you don't want to auto-arm anything, please enter DSF_Insights for now

Registering for presales demo

  5. When it's ready, you can click on Connection Details in the Actions column to copy the machine name
  6. Connect to the machine using RDP

Outlook setup

Outlook is automatically configured using the e-mail address from step 1

Orchestrator setup

Each demo machine automatically gets its own folder in our Presales Orchestrator. This folder contains a number of one-click demos that you can execute from the robot tray alongside some resources such as assets.

You can open Orchestrator by executing the Orchestrator_Login workflow from Assistant

Running demos

Some out of the box demos are available in Assistant. You should be able to run these directly from there without having to go to Studio. The source code is usually made available in the C:\UiPath\demos folder but it may be slightly out of sync in some cases

  • Invoice2SAP (download invoice from e-mail attachments, digitize using Document Understanding ML solution, validate and enter into SAP) - when the settings form shows, please mark only those e-mails as unread that you want to digitize
  • DSF_Insights (open insights and create a user if necessary)
  • DSF_AI_Fabric_Email_Classification (move a bunch of customer complaint e-mails into subfolders

Other demos are meant to be run interactively using Studio. These are downloaded from github to the C:\UiPath\demos folder when the VM is provisioned.

  • Golden demon (a collection of smaller demos)

As things may sometimes break unexpectedly, it is recommended to familiarize yourself and test all demos before showing them to customers.
