Apparently the block-log tools in spring-util are not reliable.

Depending on level of usage, consider deprecation.

On the other hand, if they are useful:

  • We would need to spend time to get them working reliably
  • Add tests
  • And cosinder adding similar functionality for ship-logs...
    • print
    • make_index
    • trim
    • extract blocks
    • split
    • merge

  • Assess what we DO have tests for
  • Determine what we know is working reliably (if it isn't then it must not be used)
