concept-map-browser-extension

• A browser extension which will take the selected text on a website as input and create a concept map out of it.
• This project is aimed at providing an alternative way to represent information metioned text as a graph for easier interpretation.

Different aspects of the project

1. Text Summarization
   • The selected text will be first summarized using the state of the art text summarization model.
   • Given a long text we will first summarize it to condense the information into reasonable sentences.
2. Entity Extraction

4. Browser Extension and Backend
   • Browser extension will allow for the user to select text from a website to turn into a concept map.
   • The browser extension will then send that information to the backend python script.
   • The python script will send back the desired data.
