Currently, umu-launcher will not immediately create the UMU-Latest symbolic link for GE-Proton on update. It would only do this on the second launch and this is important, as Lutris uses that file for their process management and starting in versions 0.5.18+, the client will default to using GE-Proton. For new users, Lutris would fail to kill a subprocess as it couldn't find the symlink or for existing users it would not refer to the latest GE-Proton build until the next launch when its created.
