Timely diagnosis of cognitive impairment is a key goal of the National Plan to Address Alzheimer's Disease, but studies of factors associated with a timely diagnosis are limited. The objective of this paper is to identify patient characteristics associated with a timely diagnosis of dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
