Initially what used to happen was: when I click on other date except today, that date's backgound color was set to indigo color, but today's date background was normal(white) and only text was indigo. That made it today's day not-easily recognizable, and I had to scan all dates text to recognize which day was today. So I forked the repo and made the changes, now Today will have slightly less strong indigo background color, which will make it instantly recognizable even when I select other dates.
I faced this problem and saw a bit flaw in UI, so I made changes to fix it.
