Introduction

SignXpert is an innovative project aimed at enhancing communication accessibility for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-impaired. Our primary focus is on developing a system that converts signed letters into text, facilitating seamless communication between sign language users and non-sign language users.

Problem Statement

The lack of an integrated and user-friendly solution for converting signed letters into text creates significant barriers to effective communication for individuals who rely on sign language. Addressing this communication gap requires an innovative tool that bridges this divide, empowering users to communicate effortlessly with the broader community.

SignXpert offers a comprehensive solution that seamlessly converts signed letters into text, laying the groundwork for enhanced communication accessibility. While our frontend and backend components are currently being developed independently, our vision is to integrate these components into a cohesive system that provides users with a seamless and intuitive communication experience.
