Diba
The Diba are a robot faction controlled by Alphas.
They live south and just outside of jump range of Rebel Jibauni space. However, there is a set of uninhabited systems through which you can access Diba systems with a hyperdrive.
The Diba have two outfits. One is a modified version of the Heavy Laser Turret, but slightly more powerful and only installable on Diba ships. The other is a modified version of the Heavy Anti-Missile Turret, and has the same modifications as the Diba Laser.
The Diba have five different types of ships:
The Ithquaya is to the Diba as a Scrapper is to pirates. It is the most widely spread, and the least powerful.
The Arbquaya is better compared to a Mule. It can carry one fighter, but it also holds four Diba Lasers.
The Tamquaya carries two fighters, like the Nest. But with eight Diba Lasers, it can be quite potent on its own.
With four fighters and sixteen Diba Lasers, the Tahquaya is the capital ship of any Diba fleet, and is to the Diba as the Carrier is to humans.
The Llama is the Diba fighter. It has one limited-rotation gun, but a considerable amount of cargo space. Essentially a better-defended Boxwing, but autonomous.
The Diba have no war going on at the beginning of the game. During the Jibauni storyline they will invade the Jibauni. However, at the end of the storyline, the Diba are annihilated and the Alphas who control them disappear.
