9.1 Port Forwarding

We recommend to portforward all the traffic from your router to HosTaGe to view external attacks. Portforwarding settings can vary based on your router. However, if you are able to assign HosTaGe an external IP address directly, portforwarding is not required.

Note: Without portforwarding, HosTaGe will only be able to detect internal attacks.

9.2 HPFeeds

HosTaGe supports HPFeeds. To enable HPFeeds, goto settings and enable the option for HPFeeds. On the Play Store version, the hpfeeds data is published to our hosted repository by default. However, if you want HosTaGe to publish data to your repository, i can be done by changing the parameters in PublishHelpher
