Introduction

This repository contains the source files of my PhD thesis 'Ritmo y estructura de la comedia áurea: posibilidades y límites del análisis digital automático del teatro español clásico'. It fulfils the formal requisites of the University of Vienna. The source code is intended to be compiled with XeLaTeX and Biber.

The thesis is written in Spanish, but it also includes text in English, German, Greek, and Latin, as well as characters and diacritics of the International Phonetic Alphabet (and some other). Any character with Unicode representation is typed as-is in the source code rather than calling a function. Therefore, using a font with extensive Unicode support such as Fira Code is highly recommended.

Structure

The master document, chapters and bibliography are in the thesis directory. The directory thesis/figures contains LaTeX code to draw figures, the directory thesis/images contains binary pictures, and the directory thesis/tables contains LaTeX code for tables. The directory thesis/src contains empty dummy files in the place of Python scripts as they were symlinks. The real scripts are available in their respectives repositories (see below).

Included scripts

The sctipts listed in the appendix can be found here.

Compilation

$ xelatex main && biber main && xelatex main
