The query-generating side of this is working and used in a production site. Eventually, I want to create a query syntax based on or even identical to lucene’s (that’s what is used in XTF) because the Ruby syntax, while useful for generating the XTF XML queries, is quite verbose.

I’ve started extracting code from my current project to generate Ruby objects from the XML returned by XTF, but haven’t pushed that up here yet.
