Hey @tonyvince, I originally created #1576 - thanks for making this fix!

However, this fix seems like it doesn't quite cover everything. If you make a category that already exists two things happen:

It doesn't tell you until after you create the category
You're left on a totally blank screen.

I made a more thorough bug report in #1595, but wanted to let you know!
