Note: Due to the change of developer certificate, updating Battery Toolkit may display error messages regarding communication issues with the background activity process. This is due to the mismatch of the developer certificate CN between the pre-1.3 daemon and the 1.3 application. To resolve the issue, either fully uninstall Battery Toolkit pre-1.3 (Menu Bar > Battery Toolkit > Disable Background Activity) before installing version 1.3, or update as usual and reboot the machine. After the reboot, the updated daemon will automatically match the new application certificate identity and the update should be completed successfully.
