Purpose

  • The goal of this workflow is to ensure consistency in how pull requests are titled in a repository. It can check that the PR titles follow a standard naming convention or contain specific keywords (e.g., fix, feat, chore, etc.).
  • This helps maintain a clean and organized repository where it's easy to identify the purpose of a pull request just by looking at its title.

Does this introduce a breaking change?

  • Yes
  • No

Deployment Validation

  • I have validated the deployment process successfully and all services are running as expected with this change.

What to Check

Verify that the following are valid

  1. Prefix: Ensure the title starts with a valid semantic type (e.g., feat:, fix:, docs:, chore:).
  2. Description: Follow the prefix with a clear and concise description of the change.
  3. Consistency: Check that the format is consistent across PRs (e.g., always using the same semantic types and structure).
