Account Linking and join organizations

This page is intended to provide a reference for Microsoft employees and vendors to join Microsoft repos in GitHub.

A few notes from other Microsoft members on linking / joining.

• Be sure you are signed into GitHub with the proper GitHub account.
• When you click the first link to "link" your accounts, you select your Microsoft domain account first (not your github account)
• After linking, when joining it looks like you've joined, but there is another tab that is waiting for you to click Join again and it then presents an invitation link where you have to click and join again.
