Machine Reading of Contents of Customer Feedback (Smart India Hackathon 2018)

The task of classification among various departments, zonals and regional offices of the customer feedback of Indian Railways was carried out in order to enable quick transfer of such feedback to the concerned officials for immediate readdressal.

To extract useful information from the unstructured text, the text underwent prepossessing and feature extraction was then applied on the processed text to derive meaningful information as a feature matrix which was further used to train the learning algorithms.
