Starting with version 2.0 PKMN-NTR supports Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon with all functions that are available in Generation 6 games (Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon are supported starting on version 3.6.). Please read the instructions before using this application with your games.

  • Mode-3 NTR/Input Redirecition is needed to use PKMN-NTR in an old 3DS. Enable the debugger after the game is started.
  • Sun/Moon update compatibility:
    • 1.0: No support in a stable release, preview versions from 2.0-alpha1 to 2.0-RC5 might work. You need to compile them yourself.
    • 1.1: Use PKMN-NTR 2.0 up to 3.3.
    • 1.2: Use PKMN-NTR 3.4 or higher.
  • Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon update compatibility:
    • 1.0: No support in a stable release, preview versions from 3.6-alpha1 to 3.6-alpha2 might work. You need to compile them yourself.
    • 1.0: No support in a stable release, preview versions from 3.6-alpha3 to 3.6-beta2 might work. You need to compile them yourself.
    • 1.2: Use PKMN-NTR 3.6 or higher.
  • Unlike Generation 6 games, Pokémon Sun and Moon cannot be connected to the internet during normal gameplay, so after starting the application or performing any kind of reset you must connect PKMN-NTR at any of the following points:
    • Title Screen.
    • Continue / Mystery Gift / Live Competition Screen.
    • Home Menu while the game is open and then wait until the top screen shows that you're connected to Internet.
    • Festival Plaza while being connected to Internet.
  • Once connected, PKMN-NTR will apply a memory patch that prevents the game from disconnecting from your Wi-Fi. If patching fails, an error message will be displayed. After this, you can freely connect and disconnect the game until a restart, power-off or until the game is closed/restarted.
