IC2 Classic is not all about Machines or Ore Processing or Reactors.
No its also about Player Transportation.
For that IC2 Classic adds 3 Types of Boats.

Rubber Boat

The Rubber Boat is basically like your Normal Boat, but sadly it can break when to much fall damage is applied.
On the other Hand the Rubber Boat has 1 Unique feature.
It can bounce, In other words it can be used to make a parkour or something like that which includes bouncing.
When the rubber boat breaks you get a Broken Rubber Boat back which can be repaired with Rubber.

Carbon Boat

The Carbon boat is your Upgraded Rubber Boat.
Sadly it loses its ability to bounce but on top of it your boat no longer can break on any type of fall.
Since there are actual Rare cases where it could break.

Electric Boat

The Electric Boat is a Special Boat because it neither uses the 1.7.10 Logic nor the 1.10.2 Logic.
It uses a custom System which allows you to get a Speed which you normally would get with Packed Ice on a Boat.
To give a better Explanation: The Electric Boat has a Engine installed which thrust you forward.
While you are in the boat it shows you on your XP Bar your Current Engine thrust and when Ctrl is down your Current Charge.
When you press Forward it increases the Engine thrust and backwards to decrease the Engine thrust or go into breaking thrust. When you Press the Mode Switch Key and other thrust-changing key Pressed it will reset the Engine Thrust to 0%.
To Access the Inventory of the Electric Boat you need to press the Side Inventory Key while sitting in the boat.

• Pro tip: You only need full thrust to get up to speed or to break fast. But after that a reduced thrust is enough to maintain the speed.
  
• Energy Consumption on full Thrust: 10 EU/t
• The boat also charges its battery from your Armor/Baubles Energy.
