Recycler

The Recycler is used to eliminate all the unwanted items lying around a base. While slower than a simple lava pool, every item destroyed by a Recycler has a chance to produce Scrap (or, for metal items, Metal Scrap). Scrap can then be used as a weak form of solid fuel, crafted into IC2 Fertilizer, or combined into Scrapboxes which can then be opened to gain random items.

The Recycler has a configurable blacklist of items that will not produce scrap. This list is empty by default.

The Recycler GUI contains 7 slots and 2 indicators, in the same format as the Electric Furnace. Input, Battery, Output, and 4 Upgrades.

The Recycler doesn't recycle Scrap placed into it; instead, it will do nothing until 9 Scrap are placed in, where it will then "recycle" (or, to use a more correct term, compress) into a Scrap Box.
