Generator

The Generator is our most basic machine for Electrical Unit (EU) generation. A one cubic meter powerhouse, it uses solid fuels, such as coal or wood, in similar manner to the Furnace or Iron Furnace. It will even use fuels manufactured by dedicated machinery, such as various fuels canned in a Fuel Can. Not exactly our most efficient model, but for the price, it is a great place to start and build your infrastructure!

At 10 EU/t, it can power most of your basic Low Voltage machines. Set it up next to your Macerator! Connect it to copper cables and power a row of machines! Install it next to a Batbox to store extra power! If you need to pick it back up, you can still pull it up with your pick if you have to with a one hundred percent guarantee that it won't fall apart on you.

For extra options, try out other mods' solid fuels. Railcraft's Coal Coke or Forestry's Peat make great alternatives. However, be advised that the Generator will continue burning even if its energy storage is full, so be sure to use (or store) your power so you don't waste it.
