Neutron Reflectors

So you have a Nuclear Reactor and you want more power, but you don't want all the heat or design (or expense) that comes from an extra Uranium Cell. You want to take the cells you have and get more out of them. Neutron Reflectors fill that role. Neutron Reflectors, when placed adjacent to Fuel Cells, cause those Cells' neutron pulses to be bounced directly back to them. This causes the Fuel Cells to emit an additional EU pulse and double heat pulse, resulting in half the net effect of placing an additional equal Fuel Cell. Each time a Neutron Reflector reflects a pulse, it loses 1 point of durability.

The important point of Neutron Reflectors is that, as they are crafted from Copper, Tin, and Coal, and not Uranium, they are effectively cheaper and more expendable. And because they are not themselves Fuel Cells, they can increase the effective efficiency of other Fuel Cells beyond the regular increase that comes from placing additional adjacent cells. (A Quad Uranium Cell has an efficiency of 3. When surrounded by Neutron Reflectors, its efficiency increases to 7.)

There are Three types of Neutron Reflector. (Regular) Neutron Reflectors have 10,000 durability. Thick Neutron Reflectors have 40,000 durability. Iridium Neutron Reflectors have 320,000 durability, can be repaired with Coal Dust and cannot be destroyed in the reactor, losing effect once depleted instead.
